a) What does your logo/tattoo represent?
b) How did you design your logo/tattoo to represent this?

a) My logo/tattoo represents me.

b) I designed the logo/tattoo to represent me by creating it with my number (#20) and my aka (taMiL QueeN). I infused these two part of me to create this logo/tattoo.

I originallywanted to give the message of “everyone has told someones else what to do” and the title would of been “we all tell others whats best for them” and the image of everyone together would represent everyone being similar because they all have told someone what to do. But then i thought it would be a negative message even tho it is true. So i changed the message to “everyone is similar” / “we all contribute to each other”. And the title changed from “we all tell others whats best for them” to “we are we”. its important to me because it took a lot of effort and work and also because the message it gives off and the impact it has of other is lasting imprecision.  It get the message out to everyone that everything you do effects other people. The idea for the design just kind of came to me, i didn’t really think about it.

Class Task #7 – Layer Masks…Like Face Masks

What happens when you paint part of the layer mask
…black? …white? …grey?

When its black its takes away from the layer. When its white white it repairs the layer and the original image reapperas. And when its gray it is a translucent affect to the layer.

“Dpn’t Hate The Game, Hate The Player”

 “Passion For Competition”

‘Don’t Hate The Game, Hate The Player’

a) What were you trying to express and how did you achieve this?

I am trying to express my ‘passion for competition’.

 b) What filters did you use and where?

Filter à Brush Strokes à Crosshatch

Filter à Distort à Ocean Ripple

Filter à Sketch à Conté Crayon

Filter à Texture à Mosaic Tiles

I used these filters on the part of the portrait where my face is, in the four corners.

c) What layer blending mode did you use and where?

On my ‘succeSs’ layer I used drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, bevel and emboss, and satin. On my ‘Aggression’ I used drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, and inner glow.  On me ‘Passion’ layer I used drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow and bevel and emboss. On my ‘Victory’ layer I used bevel and emboss, inner shadow, and outer glow. On my ‘Determination’ I used drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, and Satin.

d) What special brush did you use and where?

I use the Satin stamp tool. I used this on “layer 4”. Layer 4 was on the top layer on my work n’ because of this it gave everything a satiny look. I gives its a smooth glossy look.
